Call To Worship
L: In the name of the one who created us to be perfectly imperfect, who gives us room to grow and grace to learn from our mistakes; in the name of the one who believes in us even when we are down on ourselves; In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit!
C: Amen.
L: Holy God, you gather us this morning to save us from the biggest mistake: pretending that we are already complete. Instead, you invite us to grow in your spirit.
C: Come and dwell among us. Let us experience the fullness of your grace.
L: Holy God, you gather us this morning because we are not righteous or perfect, but we are sinners and imperfect. You are the one who can transform our flaws.
C: Turn fear into courage, anxiety into hope, over-confidence into humility.
L: Holy God, you are with us in this place that we call our life, whether we are at home, in school, at work, in times of trouble or in times of joy and peace. You are the anchor that holds us.
C: Bring to us the sure knowledge of your presence and your unlimited power of love.
L: Lord we come to you this morning with open hearts and open hands.
C: Fill us with your grace. Amen.
