Call to Worship

L: God speaks to all people, everywhere : Rise, shine, for your light has come.
C: The true light that enlightens every person has come into the world, revealing that
all creation is one in God.

L: Rise, shine, all you Christians, your light is here in this place; it is present in you and
in your neighbor.
C: Jesus, the light of the world, is shining love into the dark corners of
confusion, fear and despair.

L: Rise, you people of the world, shine, all of humanity, for your light has come indeed.
C: Here we are, Lord. Illumine us, purify us, and shine through us as we worship,
listen and respond to you. Amen.
