Prayer:
Lord, we thank you for this day. Help us to grow in wisdom and insight, that we may keep the bad in perspective, even as we celebrate the good; that we may be courageous without being reckless; that we may have confidence without indulging in arrogance. Lead and guide us with your spirit and help us to use our gifts and resources on behalf of those who need our support. Amen.
