Prayer:
Holy God, holy Father, grant us discernment for good counsel and good advice. Let us see through the ulterior motives of people; let us sense when someone is insincere; give us good judgment and a desire to hear the truth, rather than what we would like to hear. Bless our hearts with humility and openness and save us from persistent stubbornness. In all that we hear and say, be our infallible guide.
