L:  Peace be with you!
C: Not the peace of this world, which is only temporary; but the peace of God that comes from above, filling our hearts and spilling over into the lives of others.

P:  Welcome to worship!
Whether you feel far from God or near to God,
God’s peace is yours this morning,
a gift that can comfort you all week long.
Let us pray together:

C: God of grace,
you know our hearts, you know what we need
even when we ourselves don’t know what that is.
This morning fill us with the peace from above
that surpasses all understanding.
