P This morning, we remember a special woman of faith, one who used her connections to help her people:
C Lord, help us to help others.

P This morning we remember that power is not bad. It can be used to bring about justice and peace.
C Lord, help us to be advocates for those on the margins.

P This morning we honor Queen Esther, who stood up for her people when their lives where imperiled.
C Lord, bless us that we may be a blessing for others.

P Today, as we remember Queen Esther’s story, let us remember those in need and be mindful of the powers given to us, our capacity to help. God is compassionate and full of love.
